Kitchen space

As we all get older less space becomes available. The kids grow, as well as all the clutter. I decided to get the extra table out of the kitchen and build a shelf for the coffee pot and other clutter items we will acquire one day😆. As my other half is as work I took a trip to Home Depot and started on my project. I started with a piece of wood and cut it to the length I needed. I sanded the wood down real good considering all of children in this house. We do not want any splinters or tears😭. After the sanding is done I sprayed it with Varathane to seal the wood. I realized I picked up the wrong spray🤦‍♀️, I purchased exterior instead of interior, but it worked. I let it dry extra long since the fumes were a little strong. Next, I screwed in the brackets where I wanted to place the shelf and screwed it in! After this is complete I had one more step….decorate the shelf and voila it’s complete! I am more amazed I have room to actually walk in our kitchen. The best part is the kids have more room to do the dishes! Pictures are below to compare the before and after pictures 😎. Amazing! 🌻
